Disc Filter Bags for Pulp and Paper Filtration

Disc filter bags form the filtration surface around each sector of a rotary disc filter. During operation, liquid passes through the fabric while fibers and other suspended solids build a filter cake on the bag surface. The bag must balance drainage capacity with filtrate clarity and release the cake cleanly during discharge.

Correct fit is essential. Sector geometry, seam construction and edge finishing affect installation, fabric tension and service reliability. Fabric permeability and weave should be selected for the furnish, solids concentration, required filtrate quality and cleaning conditions rather than by product name alone.
