Vacuum Belt Filter Cloth
A vacuum belt filter cloth travels continuously across the filtration zone while vacuum draws liquid through the fabric and retains solids as a cake. Depending on the process, the cake can be washed and further dewatered before discharge. Reliable operation depends on stable tracking, controlled permeability, clean cake release and resistance to the process chemistry.
The cloth must be matched to the filter design and slurry. Material, weave, seam and edge construction influence filtrate clarity, throughput, washing efficiency, fabric cleaning and working life. No universal cloth specification is suitable for every vacuum belt filter.
