Anti-Static Mesh Belt

Anti-static mesh belts are used in forming, conveying and drying processes where friction can generate electrostatic charge. Conductive elements incorporated into the fabric provide a path for charge dissipation, helping reduce material attraction and unstable web handling.

These belts are commonly associated with nonwoven production and other continuous processes handling light sheet or fiber webs. Belt construction must also provide suitable air permeability, dimensional stability, tracking and surface characteristics for the machine position.
