Process Belt for Nonwoven Production

Nonwoven process belts support light fiber webs during forming, conveying, bonding and drying. The open mesh allows air or water to pass through the belt while the surface carries the web through the production line.

The required surface, permeability and belt construction depend on the nonwoven process and machine position. Stable tracking and dimensional control help maintain an even web, while clean release and suitable seam construction support continuous production. Conductive designs may be considered where electrostatic charge affects material handling.
